I have been at iFocus for 8 ½ months.
Describe what you do.
I work directly with our clients and internal teams to develop digital marketing strategies and deliver success across multiple marketing platforms.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
A typical workday for me usually includes a few calls with clients, trafficking projects, analyzing current campaign metrics, developing new strategies, and looking for new industry trends. Digital marketing is a very fast paced industry and is consistently changing so now two days for me look the same.
Do you have any nicknames in the office?
The Patriots Fan!
What would your co-workers say is your most distinguishing feature at work?
My willingness to jump in and help on any project along with my deep passion and enthusiasm for all things marketing.
Briefly talk about one of your all-time favorite iFocus projects you’ve worked on.
My all-time favorite iFocus project so far has been working with a local client in the designer jewelry industry. They are a fun client to partner with because of the industry (I love fashion) and their understanding of marketing. They trust our expertise and we’re able to try new things and create awesome, effective campaigns for their business.
Besides your own work, what iFocus product/service is your favorite? Why?
My favorite iFocus service is Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is the backbone of a great website which is the building block of an effective online presence. Great SEO is an artform and our team at iFocus produce amazing results for client. Unlike paid channels, SEO is long lasting so it helps build long-term success for our clients.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Lift weights and watch Tom Brady & the New England Patriots dominate the league!
What’s your favorite local KC food joint?
Gates BBQ
What movie or TV show character do you most identify with?
I would like to say Archer … but I’m not an alcoholic, international spy. For that reason, I will go with Dwayne Johnson in Bay Watch! I think that is much more accurate. ?
What’s one cool thing that has happened to you recently?
Bought a brand-new car, earned my MBA, and the Patriots won ANOTHER Super Bowl! #Winning
Describe your ideal weekend getaway.
My ideal weekend getaway would be a going somewhere tropical with my girlfriend and my dog, Champ. There would plenty of Dos Equis and fishing evolved!
Are you a cat person or a dog person?
A cat person is not really a person…
What celebrity would you most like to have drinks and a conversation with? Why?
Tom Brady because he’s Tom freaking Brady!
What’s one weird quirk that you have?
One weird quirk I have is my appreciation for butterflies. I used to collect and study them when I was younger. I have forgotten a lot of the knowledge I had but I still appreciate their beauty!

Describe one thing that’s a source of inspiration for you.
My mother is my single greatest source of inspiration. She is the strongest, most compassionate, dedicated woman I have ever met in my life! Lori is a real-life superhero.
What’s your favorite part about working at iFocus?
My favorite part about iFocus is the atmosphere. iFocus provides me the opportunity to work freely and own projects while simultaneously fostering a culture of learning. This makes me feel accomplished, but it also makes me feel valued. I show up everyday eager to learn something new!
What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from working at iFocus thus far?
The most important thing that I have learned from working at iFocus thus far is that there is always something to be learned and you should always ask “why?” Digital marketing is a very fast paced and ever-changing industry. Staying on top of trends and new opportunities is what sets apart the great from the irrelevant.
