What we’re looking for in a Senior Account Executive

The ideal candidate for the Senior Account Executive position should have at least three years of experience in media-related sales and be comfortable selling an intangible product.

iFocus Marketing is amazing at designing and developing websites, ramping up web traffic and lead generation, pumping up social media engagement, and a myriad of other marketing services. Our Senior Account Exec must be equally amazing at getting clients to “believe it before they see it.” Give us a good set-up, and our team will spike it every time.

Additionally, this individual also will have a strong network of relationships in the greater Kansas City area and feel comfortable leveraging them in strategic digital marketing conversations.

A successful Senior Account Executive at iFocus Marketing is curious, passionate, and driven – motivated to help businesses exceed their growth goals. They enjoy using analytics tools to identify areas of opportunity for a business, and they are comfortable providing strategic insights a business owner may not otherwise see. This candidate will work directly with Account Managers to coordinate and organize client assets, projects, and data. This position requires daily communication with internal team members and some external communication with clients.. As an entry-level position there will be a high level of training provided.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and will have the ability to juggle multiple projects and clients at one time, while still delivering on-point and on-time work. Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work, are key attributes of this individual. This position is a full-time, salaried position based out of our headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas. New employees are required to complete their first two weeks of training in the office. After the two week training period, employees will have a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

In this role, the candidate will be working with our wide range of clients to implement, monitor, optimize, and report on organic content for social media. This person will be responsible for writing and coordinating social content for our social management clients. This person will manage the day-to-day tasks of the social management team as well as identifying opportunities within each account to improve engagement performance and take action to improve results.

The ideal candidate should be very familiar with various social media marketing interfaces and their respective back-end functionalities, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. The candidate will be well organized, take initiative, prioritize well, will be accustomed to multi-tasking, and should possess a strong sense of ownership for client satisfaction. In addition, this individual should feel comfortable developing creative content to exceed established performance benchmarks. New employees are required to complete their first two weeks of training in the office. After the two week training period, employees will have a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

iFocus Marketing is looking for a driven, creative mind to tell our clients’ stories and build their authority online. We ARE NOT looking for contract writers at this time. The Digital Copywriter collaborates with the account management and SEO teams to write engaging blog and website copy for our clients on a monthly basis. They will create and/or facilitate all copy curation from conception to completion for clients in a variety of industries, from automotive dealers, to luxury retail brands, to medical spas and salons, and many more.

The ideal candidate works well under pressure and is able to juggle multiple writing projects at once, while still delivering on-point and on-voice articles. They are flexible, adaptable, and able to learn quickly, while delivering quality work on tight deadlines. This position requires taking a leading role on writing projects while working with internal team members across multiple departments and managing expectations as necessary. The Digital Copywriter reports directly to the Senior Copywriter & Team Lead.

This position is a full-time, salaried position based out of our headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas. The ideal candidate lives in or near the Kansas City metro; we are not hiring fully-remote workers at this time.
