About the Role

The Web Designer/Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify. The role involves a combination of web design and web development skills to create attractive and user-friendly websites that meet the specific needs of clients. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and will have the ability to juggle multiple website projects at one time. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create websites using different languages such as HTML and CSS that integrate with popular CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, etc.
  • Establish UI/UX design deliverables through block diagrams, wireframes, moodboards, mockups and specifications
  • Collaborate with copywriters, SEO team, and other teams to establish the vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
  • Improve and enhance websites after they have been created
  • Develop and maintain templates to be used for new client builds
  • Execute site launches using a variety of different methods and hosting platforms
  • Ensure projects are completed according to schedule while following quality standards
  • Support existing WordPress/Shopify sites with updates, maintenance and new features/functionality
  • Test and troubleshoot WordPress/Shopify implementations

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science or applicable professional experience
  • 4+ years professional web design
  • Highly proficient with WordPress and similar CMS
  • Experience with ecommerce applications (WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.)
  • Proficiency in front-end web development programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, Bootstrap, jQuery and JavaScript

iFocus marketing is looking for a driven, creative mind to execute specific graphic design tasks that relate to ad creation for our wide variety of clients. These ad types include animated display ads, short video ads, static ads, social media ads, and more. This candidate will report directly to our senior graphic designer.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and will have the ability to juggle several design projects at one time, while still delivering creative and out-of-the-box ideas to meet our clients’ goals and objectives. Candidates must have an interest in digital ad design and marketing strategies, and be willing to learn and implement best practices in our field. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual. 

This position is a full-time, salaried position based out of our headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas. Remote workers need not apply.

Essential Responsibilities & Attributes:

  • Must possess a solid foundation in graphic design in a variety of mediums including advertising, branding, presentations, and web and video graphics.
