Paid Media Specialist

iFOCUS is hiring a Paid Media Specialist to build, launch, and optimize digital campaigns across search, social, and programmatic for a wide range of clients. You’ll spend most of your time in the ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic, and more), setting up campaigns, configuring audiences and conversions, and keeping live campaigns tuned for performance.

You’ll work from briefs and campaign plans developed by our media leadership teams, building and launching them in the platforms. You’ll partner with account, content, and SEO teams along the way, and you’ll bring clean data and clear reporting to every client conversation.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, launch, and maintain digital paid media campaigns across search, social, and programmatic platforms.
  • Configure new campaigns end to end, including keyword lists, ad groups, ad copy, audience targeting, bid strategies, conversion tracking, and landing page connections.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience research, and competitive review to support campaign builds.
  • Write digital ad copy that aligns with brand voice and is built to convert.
  • Optimize live campaigns through ongoing keyword, ad copy, bid, and audience adjustments.
  • Manage and monitor account budgets and pacing across 40+ services.
  • Manage analytics implementation, including conversion tracking, retargeting pixels, and event setup.
  • Compile monthly client reports with performance commentary and observations on what’s working.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on landing pages and content needed to support campaign launches and performance.
  • Stay on top of platform changes, beta features, and emerging trends, and bring that knowledge back to the team.
  • Other duties as assigned and amended at the discretion of the Media Manager.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, with an emphasis on digital marketing preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing paid media campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with paid search platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and YouTube.
  • Experience with additional paid media platforms such as programmatic display, Spotify, Hulu, Reddit, and social platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4.
  • All Google Ads certifications completed.
  • Google Analytics 4 certification completed.
  • Experience building campaigns across multiple Google Ads campaign types (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, etc.).
  • Google Tag Manager experience.
  • Ability to read performance KPIs and adjust live campaigns to improve outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a habit of QA-ing your work before campaigns go live.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including client-ready ad copy.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Hybrid role based in Overland Park, KS, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.

  • Prior agency experience managing a multi-client portfolio.
