Account Manager – Future Opportunity

We’re looking to add an eager self-starter to our fast-paced and dynamic environment in the next 6 months. We seek people who have their own ideas, who can embrace change, and who are excited about developing solutions that make an impact. The ideal candidate will be able to show a proven track record of client growth and strategic advising. They will be hungry to grow and will be comfortable serving as the first point of contact for their client base. The candidate will be well-organized, take initiative, be able to prioritize, will be accustomed to multi-tasking, and will have a strong sense of ownership for client satisfaction. This is a full-time, salaried position based in our Overland Park headquarters.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in advertising, marketing, or related field

At least 2 years of account management experience in the digital space

Experience developing strategies across a variety of digital channels and industries

Analyze ongoing campaign metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting client’s expectations of success

Outstanding attention to detail, multi-tasker extraordinaire, organization skills for days

Excellent interpersonal, writing, project management, research, and presentation skills

Ability to foster client relationships through proactive communication of campaign optimizations and progress

Facilitate the production of clients’ digital marketing plans and reporting

Consistently monitor campaign budgets, performance, and execution to ensure accuracy and identify areas for growth

Lead client discussions in person, and/or via web meetings, email, and phone

Digital Copywriter

iFocus Marketing is looking for a driven, creative mind to execute specific copywriting needs to connect with our customer base through multiple channels. We ARE NOT looking for contract writers at this time. This candidate will work directly with the account management and SEO teams to write blog and website copy for our clients on a monthly basis. The copywriter will create and/or facilitate all copy curation from conception to completion for clients in a wide variety of industries, from automotive dealers, to luxury retail brands, to medical spas and salons, and many more. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and will have the ability to juggle multiple writing projects at one time, while still delivering on-point and on-voice articles. Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual. This position will require taking a leading role on writing projects while working with internal team members across multiple departments and managing expectations as necessary. The copywriter reports directly to the Director of Operations. This position is a full-time, salaried position based out of our headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas. Remote workers need not apply.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Must be a highly creative thinker and exhibit exceptional written communication skills.

Writes highly engaging blog and website content that reflects various brand voices.

Produces error-free web content that adheres to clients’ style guidelines and incorporates monthly SEO keywords.

Must have experience writing specifically for SEO rankings and have a foundational knowledge of SEO.

Embraces new technology and leverage knowledge and experience to promote innovative, engaging, and effective communication solutions with originality.

Comfortable in a team environment and willing to consult and collaborate on a variety of marketing projects to refine ideas, strategize around new initiatives, and critique concepts to achieve the desired results.

Plans, manages, prioritizes, and schedules projects with minimal supervision.

Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects effectively while coordinating with internal departments, branches, outside vendors, and business partners; is detail-oriented.

Communicates effectively in both technical and business environments.

Takes ownership of individual projects while also working on collaborative initiatives for local and national campaigns.

Possesses good interpersonal skills; be an adaptable, self-motivated, flexible team player with a positive outlook.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, creative/technical writing, etc., or equivalent experience

2-3 years direct experience

Extensive experience producing exceptional copy for digital and SEO purposes

Proven success through compelling written samples

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, as well as Google apps (Gmail, Docs, etc.)

Expert-level creative writing and editing skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage a fast-paced workload

High level of personal accountability, creativity, and confidence in abilities

Self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job
